Dr. Alexander Robert

Bishop Dr. Alexander Raja Robert is from Lahore, Pakistan. He was born on September 23, 1947, in Sadar Bazar, Lahore. His father, Pastor Pram Nahal Chand, served as the Organizing Secretary of the Pakistan Christian League, a political party led by Christian leader SP Singha. The family owned a house in Sadar Bazar, during a time of significant progress and development in Pakistan. This period also saw many people migrating to Pakistan from India, and the Christian League played a key role in resettling refugees across various regions.

Bishop Dr. Alexander Raja Robert completed his schooling at Sacred Heart School in Lahore. After matriculating in 1964, he went on to graduate from FC College between 1965 and 1968. In 1969, he earned a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the Government College of Education. In 1972, he completed a Master's degree in Political Science from Punjab University. In 2004, he received a Ph.D. from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Georgia, USA.

From 1995 to 2011, Bishop Robert served as the Founder and District Superintendent of The Nazarene International Church USA. He is currently the Director of Nazarene International Ministries USA, overseeing operations in Pakistan. By God's grace, he remains deeply involved in spreading the Gospel internationally, with his wife, Sosan Robert, and daughter, Merub Robert, actively supporting his ministry. Bishop Dr. Alexander Raja Robert has also authored several books.
